Da Hike Updates: Before the festive season, the Government of Chhattisgarh has given a big gift to its employees and pensioners.The government led by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has announced to increase dearness allowance (DA).This decision will directly benefit millions of employees and pensioners.

How much did dearness allowance increased?

According to the more__ PH6__ released by the Finance Department, the dearness allowance of the employees of the Seventh Pay Commission has been increased from 53% to 55%.At the same time, the sixth pay commission employees have been increased from 246% to 252%.These revised rates will be applicable from September 2025 and will start getting their benefits with the salary of October.

How many people will be benefited?

This decision will directly benefit more than three and a half lakh officers and employees of the state.Apart from this, more than one lakh pensioners will also be able to take advantage of this.This order will also apply equally to the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), working and casual salaries.

DA will be found equal to central employees

Earlier, the employees of Chhattisgarh used to get less dearness allowance than central employees.Because of this, they used to have a feeling of dissatisfaction.But now this inequality is over.With this decision, the employees of the state can proudly say that they too are getting equal facilities to the national level.
