Introduction to Ayushman Bharat Scheme
Ayushman Bharat Yojana, called Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23 September 2018.It is considered the world's largest health insurance scheme.The objective of this scheme is to provide quality health services to the weak and poor sections of the society.So far, more than 32 crore Ayushman cards have been issued and more than 55 crore people are taking advantage of this scheme.
