Da Hike Good News: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given great relief to the state government employees and pensioners.The government has decided to increase the dearness allowance (DA) by 3%.This decision will be applicable from 1 July 2025 and more than 14 lakh government employees and pensioners of the state will get direct benefit.The announcement has emerged as a pleasant news amid rising inflation.

New rates will be applicable from July 1

According to the information received by the government, the new DA rates will be effective from 1 July 2025.Along with this, employees will also get arrears from July to September 2025.For example, if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18,000, his monthly income will increase by about Rs 540.This increase will be directly added to the salary of every month.

How many people will benefit?

This decision will benefit about 12 lakh government employees of the state and more than 2 lakh pensioners.This will prove to be a sigh of relief for families struggling with inflation pressure.

According to government sources, its official Acquisition may be released in the first week of PH6__ October 2025.The state government will also implement it after the Central Government releases DA Hike's Acquisition of DA Hike.Since the festivals of Diwali are near, this announcement will prove to be a festive gift for the employees.

Decision on recommendations of Seventh Pay Commission

This decision has been taken on the basis of the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission.The Commission periodically recommends the DA Hike according to the inflation rate (CPI index).Generally, dearness allowances are reviewed twice a year - January and July.
