Scholarship of ₹ 50,000 for daughters education, how to apply AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme

AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme: Government of India and All India Technical Education (AICTE) have launched AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme to promote daughters' education.The objective of this scheme is to help daughters of economically weaker families to get higher education and promote women's participation in technical education.

Main objective of the scheme

Even today many daughters are not able to continue higher education due to economic difficulties.The AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme helps such families so that their daughters can get education in engineering, diploma and other technical courses.Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 50,000 is given to qualified girl students every year.

Last date and procedure of application

The application process for this scheme has started.Students can apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) - Scholarship.gov.in by 31 October 2025.The online application process is as follows:

Financial assistance and expenses

Under this scheme, an amount of ₹ 50,000 is sent directly to the student every year to her bank account.This amount can be used for the following expenses: ⚠️ Note that this amount cannot be used for medical expenses and hostel fees.

Duration of profit

The duration of scholarship is determined by the student's course: Graduate course (B.Tech/be) Diploma (Polytechnic) course
